yep...i had pretty much a normal childhood....
though im a girl...i don't play with barbie dolls much...
i play the jumprope....
or 10-20,,,,chinese garter...
or street games such as patintero, langit lupa and tagu-taguan....
jolen...jackstones...or pog....
tagu-tagiuan maliwanag ang buwan
pag bilang ko ng taltlo...
nakatago na kayo...
but instead of counting to 3...the "it" would count to 10....
then shouts..."GAME??"
of course children as we were...the person who would answer "GAME!" usually is the first to be out.....
pretty darn silly.....but before we enjoyed it...
well i also play SOME girl games like bahay-bahayan...luto-lutuan and the like...
i loved watching TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES....
the SENTAI series such as MASKMAN, BIOMAN, the original POWER RANGERS, JETMAN...
and such as MASK RIDER BLACK...SHRAIDER...TRANSFORMERS...
and of course MARIMAR every night....i think i was about 10 years old back then....if i remember correctly...it was 6:30-7:00 pm at RPN 9...that spanish novela was the wave of the 90's then...it started a whole new trend....eventhogh LA TRAIDORA came first..but that'a another story....and i heard that GMA7 is reviving the show....hmmmm.....let's wait and see....
i love my childhood..it was fun in a way.....
i hope to go back where everything is so simple...leave the problems to the grownups.....but...what can i do? all i can do is remenisce...and move forward...afterall that's LIFE.....or
